The blade is crafted from AEB-L Swedish stainless steel, heat-treated and cryogenically treated to 61 HRC for exceptional edge retention and durability. With a 0.10-inch spine thickness, 2-inch height at the heel, full distal taper, and a razor-thin 0.010-inch edge geometry, The Chef delivers smooth, effortless cuts in any kitchen.
Available with optional food-safe DLC coating. DLC provides excellent corrosion-resistance, higher scratch & scuff resistance, as well as improved food release.
